the MET International Undergraduate Program provides visiting Indonesian students access to the courses, services, and programs of a world-class university through a specialized office, whose mission is to support students in their immersion in the BU and Boston community. The University and city at large provide ample opportunity for students to advance their professional interests through formal academic and extracurricular programming, as well as networking and professional activities across the city. Beyond the world-class services available to visiting students, the city of Boston itself is an excellent place for students to experience the independence of studying abroad. QS has ranked Boston as the number one student city in the U.S. for five years running due to its excellent public transportation, cultural life, green space, and safe neighborhoods. Young people from all over the world come to this metropolitan area that is home to over 250,000 college and university students. The Boston area has all the draws of a big city, but has less than 5 million inhabitants, making it far more accessible and manageable than larger US cities, all while affording young people the opportunity to explore and live independently.
