Starting as South Korea’s first engineering institute (Dong-A Engineering Institute in 1939) Hanyang University has now evolved into a research intensive university which consists of 24 colleges and 18 graduate schools. The main campus is in Seoul and the second campus, which we call ERICA(Education, Research, Industry Cluster at Ansan) is located in the city of Ansan. With “Love in Deed and Truth” as its motto and its educational philosophy, Hanyang University with its proud 370,000 alumni has produced a large number of national and international leaders and professionals over the years.
