Established in 1796, The University of Strathclyde is a leading public international technological university, focused on delivering excellent teaching and world-class research, and known for forging strong collaborative links with industry, government and business. With a reputation for academic excellence across our four faculties, the University was awarded the Times Higher Education ‘UK University of the Year Award’ in 2019 (the only University to win the award twice) and the Sunday Times Good University Guide ‘Scottish University of the Year Award’ for 2020. Strathclyde has a long history of welcoming Indonesian students to campus, through government scholarship programmes, university partners and directly through visits to Indonesia to meet students and parents.
We welcome many international students each year on our long-established study abroad programmes and also boast a vibrant Indonesian Students Society which is linked to both the wider International Students Society on campus and the Glasgow PPI. With 25% of our student body internationa, from 150 different countries, Strathclyde offers an international experience where students can immerse themselves in the culture of Scotland’s largest city and experience our city centre campus in a cosmopolitan environment.
