The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is the Australian Capital Territories’ trusted government owned vocation education and training (VET) provider. CIT is one of the longest-standing Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions in Australia with almost 100 years’ experience in delivering quality education and training that provides students with the practical skills required to be job ready. CIT has strong partnerships with Industry with many of our courses including work placements within the Canberra community. CIT offers a range of nationally accredited courses from Certificate to Advanced Diploma level. As well as being a registered RTO, CIT also offers many CRICOS registered course. CIT has welcomed International Students for more than 30 years and are currently providing training to over 500 international students. The CIT Group, including CIT Solutions which is the commercial entity, provides facilities and student support services designed to assist students to meet their academic goals as well as enhancing their time living in Canberra.
