| CYCU was established in 1955 in Taoyuan, Taiwan, on the spirit of Christian love for the world. We share the Educational Philosophy of Holistic Education. We recognize individual differences with respect to talents, character, capability, and background. We believe that full development of one’s potential signifies success. Currently, we have 8 colleges and 28 departments with over 16,000 students including 3,074 Master’s students and 376 Doctoral students. We have more than 1,200 foreign students from 25 different countries. There are 269 Indonesian degree seeking students in CYCU including undergraduate, master and PhD program. CYCU has received multiple international honors. We have been awarded 1st among Taiwan’s private comprehensive universities by the Center for World University Ranking for 3 consecutive years, and have also been ranked among Asia’s top 200 university by QS Asia University Rankings 2019. Moreover, we have received the IEET Engineering Education International Accreditation for Engineering programs and AACSB Accreditation for Business Programs. CYCU is located in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City; the closest university to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (25km). |
